I used these knives in my recipes.
In making Ciambellone Biancaneve, I use my super sharp knife by Syosaku as I peel the apples and cut them into small cubes. When done, I cut a nice slice of cake, with the same high- performing knife, the 180mm Gyuto knife with bolster.
I also used the knife 180mm knife without bolster in cutting the meat into small cubes for my Pappardelle Al Ragu Di Cinghiale recipe.
Thanks to these knives.

"Urushi," a Japanese word derived from the fusion of two terms—uruwashi, meaning beautiful and pleasant, and uruosu, meaning moist and luxurious—is a resin extracted from the Rhus verniciflua plant. The lacquer is used to protect and decorate a wide array of objects, blending art and functionality. And it’s precisely this combination that struck me most about the Syosaku Urushi plate. The lacquered surface is smooth and delicate to the touch, while its deep gloss is hypnotic to look at—a pleasure that captivates both sight and touch.
Objects coated with thin layers of Urushi lacquer embody the pinnacle of traditional Japanese craftsmanship. This harmonious fusion reaches extraordinary levels with Syosaku’s plate design. The gold leaf’s sheen is mesmerizing, with a unique color intensity made possible by the slightly undulating surface of the plate. These elements combine to create a point of light on the dining table, adding a unique radiance to the dishes served on these exquisite Japanese artisan plates.
The Syosaku Japanese Multi-Purpose Chef Knife is an exceptional tool for both professional chefs and home cooks. Its Damascus ZA18 steel with 69 layers gives it an incredibly sharp and durable edge, making precise cuts effortless. The 7-inch Santoku blade is versatile enough for chopping, slicing, and dicing a variety of ingredients.
One of the standout features is the octagonal walnut handle, which not only looks elegant but offers a comfortable and secure grip. The knife is well-balanced, and the combination of aesthetics and performance makes it a joy to use in the kitchen.
Whether you’re working with vegetables, fish, or meat, this knife delivers clean, smooth cuts every time. Its craftsmanship reflects the high standards of traditional Japanese knife-making, and it’s a worthwhile investment for anyone serious about cooking. Highly recommended for those seeking a reliable, stylish, and sharp chef’s knife.
One of my favorite.
I used it for the first time to make a small fruit buffet. Test passed with flying colors.
I work mainly with fruit and vegetables and I found it great! Very nice design, light and ergonomic knife. Solid and very sharp blade. It is also really easy to hold and use. I really think I will buy these knives above all!

Beautiful and easy to handle, the 7-inch (180mm) Japanese Gyuto chef knife is a true gem, an all-purpose

With its ultra-sharp blade, this 7-inch (180mm) Gyuto by Syosaku is made of stainless steel, which means
it has enhanced resistance to corrosion. That’s not all; this knife also features a molybdenum and
vanadium coating, an exceptional choice that provides this tool with excellent hardness. The super
ergonomic handle design makes it pleasant and agile in hand.
Like all Syosaku products, this knife is a high-quality tool, meticulously crafted down to the smallest

Top quality from tip to tip. Beautiful to behold and precision cutting…it really does not get any better than this.
This work of art that doubles as a cutting device is amazing. I thoroughly love to create wonderful food in the kitchen using my Syosaku Japanese knives and will be adding to my collection over time. These knives are simply the best.
This knife was made by someone who knows what they’re doing and is pround of what they do. When I use these knifes, that pride exudes to me, I love using them and making wonderful food with them and will eventually phase out my old Wusthofs for this style, entirely. They’re well balanced, have a good and comfortable grip and are beautiful to behold, and yah, they cut beautifully, as well.
Japanese knife from Syosaku-Japan. I must honestly say that once you get your hands on a Japanese kitchen knife, I have no doubt that I will never use any other knife again.
First of all it has an excellent design and an ergonomic handle. I immediately noticed a very sharp and very thin blade so also very light. It has a solid blade with a razor thread, an excellent slicer that can also be used for shredding. The cut is precise without overflows, the rigidity of the blade allows even deep cuts. I found the knife balanced and easy to use. I find it very useful for slicing meat and fish. Excellent quality/price.
TRY IT!!!

Es muy pracatico y util
Delivered on time or sooner and is very sharp I could sure tell the difference between this knife and my others.
My Syosaku Nakiri has become my go-to knife for chopping vegetables. The magnolia wood handle feels great in my hand and the sharp, wide blade makes quick work of slicing large squash, chopping carrots or dicing onions. I also love how elegant it looks just hanging on my knife strip.
Un coltello davvero incredibile, riesce a creare filetti perfetti e molto sottili senza rovinare nessun tipo di carne che sia carne o pesce. Lo consiglio vivamente.
Just wanted to let you know me and my family really enjoy the knife. It is a fantastic tool and peace of art I recommend it to everyone who likes to work in the kitchen.
I've been working with Japanese knives for over 10 years now and I can honestly say that this Syosaku Gyuto is one of the sharpest blades you'll find. A beautiful Damascus VG10 with a walnut handle, light and well balanced, you'll feel like you can slice through anything.
I received this traditional Japanese knife from a friend, in use it is unprecedentedly sharp. Syosaku delivers traditional craftmanship, in use you notice that this is made of the highest quality. It makes my daily work in the kitchen even easier, it is a personal recommendation.
so sharp- love it - best knife I have ever had!
Wow!
It's got a really nice weight to it. It's not too heavy and it's not too light So this would just be a really great everyday knife for cutting vegetables, meats, even fish. Like, it's gorgeous! This one's 9.5 inches.
Whoa!
Look at that beauty! Just like see myself like chopping the shallots and my garlic. This feels really great! Again, really good weight. This can do some serious damage. I can't wait to use this.
An excellent knife made of hard steel. Absurdly sharp, like a razor. I'm warning you! Do not use this knife on plastic, glass or bamboo boards. Only natural wood such as oak or beech. No frozen cow meat. If you want to use this knife for many years, try not to scrape the blade across the board in a way that may crumble the metal. It is stainless steel with the addition of molybdenum. It is sharp and hard, but at the same time brittle.
