Yes, we can engrave with Chinese characters, both Kanji and Katakana (Hiragana and Alphabets are difficult because there are too many curves).

How to order a customized knife with engraved Chinese Characters (Kanji or Katakana)?
The engraving will be done by a Japanese master artisan in Japan, and the product will be shipped from Japan to your country. Here are the steps to order your knife. Please contact us and let us know the following:
(1) The link of the product you're interested in.
(2) The exact characters you'd like to engrave. If you don't know how to write Kanji or Katakana, let us know what you wish to engrave, and we will translate it for you.
(3) Due date for receiving (this is extremely important if the knife’s purpose is as a gift).

The engraving cost is $30.00. The shipping cost to the US is $30.00. Please contact us if you wish to ship the item to countries other than the US, as the shipping cost varies per country.

When ready, your item will be shipped from Japan. You’ll be informed of the tracking information.

What would happen if my chosen knife went out of stock?
If your selected knife is out of stock in Japan, we have to produce it from scratch. It might take months because all processes are done manually. So, our small advice is that you pick up several knives with priorities. We’ll let you know the cost and schedule for each knife.
