The knife feels very well balanced in the hand and is a pleasure to use. It makes chopping and slicing things (not fingers 😊) very easy. Straight out of the box it is amazingly sharp as always with Syosaku knives."

"Japanese knife from Syosaku-Japan. I must honestly say that once you get your hands on a Japanese kitchen knife, I have no doubt that I will never use any other knife again.

First of all it has an excellent design and an ergonomic handle. I immediately noticed a very sharp and very thin blade so also very light. It has a solid blade with a razor thread, an excellent slicer that can also be used for shredding.

The cut is precise without overflows, the rigidity of the blade allows even deep cuts. I found the knife balanced and easy to use. I find it very useful for slicing meat and fish. Excellent quality/price.

TRY IT!!!"

Cutting cheese has never been this easy

I am a cheese lover and I struggle when it comes to slicing different textures of cheese. Soft cheese like brie would squish, harder ones like aged cheddar needs too much force, so every time I put it to cheese board, it's just a mess.

I bought this gyuto kitchen knife, and I don't expect cheese to change haha because, well.. it’s cheese! 😂 But for slicing, it sure did help a lot! It cuts cleanly without sticking or crumbling, it makes my cheese board looks good as they taste. And I also used it to slice crusty bread and mozzarella for my caprese salad, it's really great. Plus, this one is dishwasher-safe, thanks for this handmade kitchen knife, it's very easy to clean! Love it!! Very very useful for cheese.

100% Quality Knives!

I got my first Japanese gyuto knife from Syosaku a few months ago. It instantly raised the bar for every knife I’ve ever used. I am so impressed with the quality, so I decided to get another one. Honestly, I thought I’d keep them as part of a collection, but I find myself reaching for them every time I cook. They're a beautiful addition to my kitchen making kitchen tasks easier. Look I even did a mini photoshoot with my two knives. That's how I like them so much!!!

A Chef’s Knife That Slices Effortlessly

I found this Japanese shop online and from my very first encounter with the Syosaku Gyuto, I knew it was special. The product came perfectly packed in bubble wrap. My first test? Slicing an orange. Simple, right.. But this knife slid through it like it was air, leaving perfect edges, no tearing nothing but perfection.. Whether you’re cutting up fruit or cooking an elaborate dinner, this knife makes it a pleasure. Believe me, it’s worth all the money.

My Friend Was Right About This One

A buddy of mine collects handmade kitchen knives, so when I told him I was looking for a solid upgrade, he pointed me straight to Syosaku. The package arrived, and the first thing I noticed (aside from the satisfying bubble wrap pop LOL 😂) was how polished this gyuto chef knife looked. It felt amazing to hold.. light but strong.. like it was built for serious work. I put it to the test right away with a whole chicken, AND MAAN, it sliced through like I was cutting a soft fruit.

It's 3 weeks in now, but the edge is still scary sharp.
Now, I get why people obsess over Japanese gyuto knives. This thing is built to last!!

I would recommend this knife to anyone. The craftsmanship on this knife is top level.

If you love cooking at home like I do, you'll know that your knife is most important tool in the kitchen. I've owned a number of different knives throughout the years. Different brands, different sizes, and some for different purposes. But no matter how many knives you own, we all have that go-to knife that we immediately pick up to make food in the kitchen. It's the knife that we always reach for that's easy to use and delivers fantastic results..

My go-to knife is the Syosaku Guyto 7-inch chef's knife. It's incredibly well-balanced. I just love how easy it is to handle. The design of the grip makes it very comfortable to use no matter how much dicing, slicing, or chopping I need to do. Although the knife feels light in my hand, it's incredible sturdy when cutting through food. The blade cuts straight, which is more than I can say for other knives I've used before. No matter whether it's a quick rough chop of vegetables or if i need something more precise, this knife makes the work feel effortless. with precision.

In addition to the performance of my knives, they have to be practical to maintain. And if you're like me, and use your go-to knife every day, it has to be easy to clean and doesn't need to be sharpened all the time. This is that knife. Not only does it get the job done, but very minimal effort in maintaining the integrity and quality of the blade. That's super important to anyone who prepares food frequently.

I would recommend this knife to anyone. Whether you're a serious home cook or more novice, this knife will make the work so much easier. This knife is easy to handle, easy to maintain, and delivers amazing results in the kitchen. Not to mention, the style of the blade just looks cool. The craftsmanship on this knife is top level.

I can't emphasize enough how great this knife would be in anyone's kitchen.

Get one today. You'll thank me later.

High-performance knives

I used these knives in my recipes.

In making Ciambellone Biancaneve, I use my super sharp knife by Syosaku as I peel the apples and cut them into small cubes. When done, I cut a nice slice of cake, with the same high- performing knife, the 180mm Gyuto knife with bolster. This knife with a reinforced handle has become my ally in the kitchen.

I also used the knife 180mm knife without bolster in cutting the meat into small cubes for my Pappardelle Al Ragu Di Cinghiale recipe.

Thanks to these knives.

Very nice design, light and ergonomic knife

I used it for the first time to make a small fruit buffet. Test passed with flying colors.

I work mainly with fruit and vegetables and I found it great! Very nice design, light and ergonomic knife. Solid and very sharp blade. It is also really easy to hold and use. I really think I will buy these knives above all!

Straight out of the box they are both amazingly sharp as always with Syosaku knives.

Both are Gyuto knives with super sharp stainless steel blades. One has a 220mm premium Molybdenum stainless steel blade and the other has a 180mm Molybdenum-Vanadium
stainless steel blade.

Straight out of the box they are both amazingly sharp as always with Syosaku knives. Both knives feel very well balanced in the hand and are a pleasure to use. They both make chopping and slicing things (not fingers 😊) very easy.

Authentic, Affordable, and Built to Last Japanese Knife

Okay, so I did some digging before buying this. YES, it’s actually made in Japan (not some knockoff). YES, it’s super sharp right out of the box. NO, it’s not one of those $300 handmade knives, but unless you're a sushi chef, do you really need that? This is a solid, well-balanced Japanese kitchen knife that holds its edge way longer than anything else I’ve used. No regrets.

Why buy from Syosaku?
